Janet Moore – I am Your Partner in Real Estate
In 1994, I became a licensed real estate agent with the Canada Real Estate Assocation which entitled me to use the title of REALTOR® after my name. I’m proud to have passed the training and received my credential with a high score. This same year, I joined Royal LePage Nanaimo Realty – Ladysmith Branch, as a fully qualified practitioner of real estate on Vancouver Island. Throughout the years, Royal LePage has honored my professionalism and skill as a REALTOR® with the ‘Master’s Sales Award’, the ‘President’s Gold Award’, and the ‘Director’s Platinum Award’. As a REALTOR®, I’m required to earn eighteen education credits each two year term, so I’m very thankful for the many opportunities provided by the local real estate board and continuing education to upgrade and update my skills.
In my personal life, I enjoy a variety of sports and cultural hobbies. Playing golf is my main sports activity here on Vancouver Island. I also enjoy playing in the Province of British Columbia, in the USA and Mexico. Tennis, swimming, scuba diving, fishing and boating are all other activities I enjoy. I have traveled throughout Europe, Asia, India, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and lived in Hawaii, and New York City. In New York I worked as a dealer and broker of fine jewelry and gem stones for 15 years; 9 years of that time I ran my own business . Some of my hobbies include wine tasting, experiencing Formula 1 Grand Prix racing, and going to the many cool car shows on Vancouver Island. However, cruising with my husband in our 1996 Classic BMW Z3 Roadster is the most rewarding. There is nothing like having the breeze in your face and the sun on your back as you explore miles of shoreline, and rural, winding country roads, that showcase the natural beauty we have here on Vancouver Island.
