Summer has finally arrived on Vancouver Island and I am sure you are enjoying this lovely weather. There is no more beautiful place on the planet to be than Vancouver Island in the summertime. It has been a very strange year to say the least, but here in Central Vancouver Island, it’s clear that the real estate market is not showing signs of slowing down due to the pandemic. The market is going strong this summer, with more buyers looking for homes than there are homes to buy, making it a strong seller’s market in many product categories.
It’s no surprise that with the Island’s spectacular beauty, relatively affordable prices and easy access to Vancouver, combined with the increased ability to work remotely, there is definitely increased demand right now by people chasing their dreams of living on the Island a little sooner than they planned. This, combined with the late arrival of the always busy spring market, has resulted in a dramatic jump in sales numbers over the past month.
