Summer is here! As temperatures warmed up, so did our market in June. It was active with sellers listing their homes for the spring market, and buyers purchasing to be a step ahead of another interest rate hike. Now, as we get into the second half of 2023, I feel that our market, as it normally does, will start to slow down through July, August and into September. It will pick up in the fall and continue until the Christmas Holidays as buyers still want to live on Vancouver Island, or chose to relocate from Victoria to a smaller less busy community.
